Hybrid Theori Linkin Park meluncurkan album
pertamanya, Hybrid Theory, pada tanggal 24 Oktober2000 dengan singel pertama One Step Closer. Namun, yang lebih terkenal adalah
singel Crawling dan In the End. Lagu ini telah membuat Linkin Park menjadi
populer. Penjualan album itu melebihi 15 juta keping. Linkin Park lalu merilis
edisi spesial dari Hybrid Theory, dengan 2 lagu baru High Voltage (Reprise) dan My December (lagu).
Linkin Park lalu merilis
album aransemen ulang dari Hybrid Theory, Reanimation. Album ini pun meraih kesuksesan dengan
penjualan kira-kira 10 juta kopi. Singelnya, Pts.Of.Athrty, tidak sepopuler
singel di Hybrid Theory, namun cukup terkenal. Linkin Park, melalui Mike Shinoda dan Joseph Hahn, juga sempat bekerja sama dengan band The X-ecutioners
dalam pembuatan singel It's Goin' Down.
Linkin Park juga membentuk kelompok fans mereka bernama Linkin Park Underground,
serta mulai mengadakan tur sendiri bernama Projekt Revolution,
setelah sering diundang ke festival musik.
Linkin park adalah grup band Amerika yang apabila dihiting
dari mereka berdiri sudah berusia 15 tahun. Memeng bukan angka yang sedikit
dengan hanya menyeluarkan 4 album sampai sekarang. Namun prestasiyang mereka
torehkan bukan hanya lewat angka mereka mengeluarkan album. Namun lebih ke sub
project dan juga tour kemanisiaan
mereka.
Album pertama mereka dirilis pada tahun 2000. Sedangkan album
kedua mereka dirilis pada tahun 2003. Diantara jarah 2 tahun tersebut, Linkin
park bukan hanya nganggur, namun mereka selain menggarap album kedua juga
melakukan konser terbesar bertajub LIVE IN TEXAS.
Linkin park juga banyak melakukan konser untuk kemanusiaan. Salah
satu konser Linkin Park untuk korban bencana adalah saat di Indonesia patahun
2004 untuk membantu korban tsunami di Aceh.
Linki park juga pada
tahun 2010 mengeluarkan single Not Alone. Lagu special yang dipersembahkan
untuk membantu korban gempa di Haiti.
Eerat sekali kaitanya Linkin Park dan Transformers. lagu-lagi Linkin Park menjadi soundtrack lagu dari Film tersebut.

Linkin Park merupakan group band amerika beraliran rock yang ditiap albumnya sesalu memberikan kejutan kepada para pendengar musik. Aliran asli group band ini adala NuMetal. Di album pertamna mereka, lagu-lagu yang ada sebagian besar beraliran NuMetal. Namun agar tidak bosan, mereka juga menyisipkan aliran elektrik, dan juga memberikan aliran Hip Metal.
Di album kedua, mereka menggunakan aliran Hardcoe disemua lagu. Namun, sisipan elektrik dan hip tetap menjadi ciri has mereka.
Album ketiga mereka benar membuat para pendengar heboh. Aliran mereka berubah menjadi sedikit mellow dan bisa dibilang mereka menghilangkan aliran asli mereka yaitu NuMetal.
Album keempat pun sama, aliran mereka lebih ke Elektrik dan hasilnya para fans mereka tidak merasa bosan dengan aliran mereka yang slalu extreme di setiap albumnya.

01. YO (MTM Demo) Ini adalah demo dari Minutes To Midnight. Disini tidak mendapat
vokalnya. Kami rasa ini adalah hal bagus untuk membuka album LPU 11 ini.
02. Slip (1998 Unreleased Hybrid Theory Demo) Kami membuat berbagai macam lagu. Tetapi tidak pernah merasa dipaksa
untuk merilis lagu. Lagu ini tidak pernah diliris sampai sekarang. Ini
adalah kumpulan lagu pertama (dengan "Blue") yang kami kerjakan bersama
ketika Chester bergabung dengan band.
03. Soundtrack (Meteora Demo) Kami mencoba melakukan olah vokal yg berbeda, tetapi tidak
benar-benar terjadi. Aku pikir kami merasa lagu ini terlalu 'poppy'.
Kami mencoba menambahkan instrumen gitar sampai keras untuk
mengimbanginya. Tapi pada akhirnya, lagu ini tidak membuat hasil akhir.
04. In The End (Demo) Ini merupakan lirik asli ketika aku sedang menulis lagu ini, dan
melodi asli di bridge. Aku ingat ketika kami bersama ketika latihan di
studio Hollywood and Vine, bekerja sepanjang malam disebuah ruangan
tanpa jendela. Aku tidak tahu kapan hari itu terjadi. Aku tidur kalau
aku merasa lelah, dan bekerja untuk lagu ini sampai menemukan suatu
bentuk lagu. Orang pertama yang mendengar lagu ini adalah Rob, dia
mengatakan padaku (penafsiran saya) bahwa ini adalah "jenis lagu yang
sama persi yang kami ingin tulis"
05. Program (Meteora Demo) Demo Meteora ini merupalan sesuatu yang sangan keren. Dimana ada
perbedaan suara gitar yang kontras. Demo era Meteora yang pasti.
06. Bang Three (What I've Done Origunal Demo) Ini adalah demo asli dari 'What I've Done'. Aku sudah lupa bagaimana
membedakan bride lagu ini dari bride solo yang kita selesaikan. Proses
chord dari lagu ini mungkin memiliki suara keren dengan vokal. Tetapi
kami ingin melakukan gitar solo, jadi kami akhirnya merubah chord
gitarnya.
07. Robot Boy (Test Mix, Optional Vocal Take) Chester dan aku suka aransemen vokal dari lagu ini, Tetapi beberapa
orang lain menginginkan kita untuk mengambil lagi hal lain. Sehinggal
versi ini dibuang... Aku tidak pernah berfikiran versi ini.
08. Broken Foot (Meteora Demo) This merupakan penggambaran dari semua suara demo Meteora. Aku selalu berfikir lagu ini akan keren jika sedikit ditambahkan rap.
09. Esaul (A Place For My Head Demo) Ini adalah salah satu demo pertama band yang pernah ditulis. Ketika
Chester bergabung dengan band, kami akhirnya mengumpulkan cukup uang
untuk perekaman yang tepat (lagu ini) di suatu "profesional studio".
Ini merupaka lirik dan penampilan yang asli.
10. Blue (1998 Unreleased Hybrid Theory Demo) Aku lupa lagu ini pernah ada sampai aku menemukan lagu ini di sebuah
CD dilemariku tahun ini. Lagu ini dan 'Slip' kami buat untuk melakukan
rekaman Hybrid Theory. Kami pada akhirnya meninggalkan lagu ini, tetapi
disini ada sesuatu yang special tentang vokal pada akhir lagu. Chester
dan aku mengambil melodi, menulis kata lirik baru, menulis chor
baru...dan itu akan menjadi nada vokal dari 'Crawling'
Promotor pertunjukan di Jakarta yang berencana mendatangkan Katy
Perry untuk menggelar konser di Indonesia memastikan bahwa penyanyi dan
pencipta lagu dari AS itu akan tampil di Sentul International Convention
Center (SICC), Bogor (Jawa Barat), 19 Januari 2012 dalam rangkaian
California Dreams Tour.
Kepastian itu disampaikan oleh promotor
dimaksud--IsmayaLive, FMLive Production, dan SoundRythm, yang didukung
oleh Mahkota Promotion--kepada pers melalui e-mail. "Kami
telah memilih SICC untuk konser California Dreams Tour di Jakarta,"
terang pihak promotor tersebut, Yudha Perdana, Brand Manager
IsmayaLive.
Pihak promotor, menurut Yudha, menargetkan untuk mulai menjual tiket
konser itu ke publik, termasuk Katy Cats, para penggemar Perry, dalam
minggu keempat November 2011. Harganya dimulai dari Rp 650.000 per
lembar.
Menurut Yudha lagi, antusiasme publik untuk menonton
konser tersebut meningkat sejak Perry meraih gelar Best Live Act Award
dari MTV Europe Music Awards 2011 belum lama ini. Untuk kategori itu,
Perry menyisihkan para nomine lainnya, yaitu Coldplay, Foo Fighters,
Lady Gaga, dan Red Hot Chili Peppers. "Penghargaan ini menunjukkan
bahwa konser California Dreams Tour Katy Perry, yang akan dapat kita
saksikan di Jakarta, adalah salah satu dari konser terbaik yang dapat
disaksikan di dunia saat ini," lanjut Yudha.
Perry sendiri
pada 24 Oktober 2011, pukul 13.28 WIB, sudah mengumumkan bahwa ia
berencana manggung di Indonesia pada 19 januari 2012. "INDONESIA!
